Finally ready to release their music into the real world, indie band Little Guilt release their debut single ‘Old’.
Originally from Mandurah, the band started off small in its conception - formed by lead guitarist Joe Knowles, Little Guilt grew steadily as the rest of the members joined; including Jarrod Rumble (bassist), Brady Keirnan (drummer), Lachlan Thomson (keyboardist) and Ella Melton (vocals). The band have spent most of their days playing live shows in and around their hometown before finding themselves ready to record an original piece.
Captured by freelance engineer and the band’s drummer Dylan Keirnan, their debut single ‘Old’ is overflowing with Little Guilt’s charm and marks an incredible debut track with heartwarming lyrics and cool melodies. Vocalist Ella Melton speaks on the track; “‘Old’ was one of the first songs I've ever written and It’s crazy how much it has adapted over time. It’s about being scared of growing old alone. I think the lyrics are really sweet and simple in the chorus. It’s so easy to sing along to, which is what we love the most about it! This is our absolute favourite song to play live as it’s so much fun and it just makes us feel so good on stage.” In order to celebrate their debut release, Little Guilt are also having a release party. Joined by special guests Lenny And The Bremers, Spici Water, and King Blue at Fremantle’s Aardvark on Thursday, October 14. For more information about the event, click here. The band are super excited to return to the stage and greet their friends and fans with this new track, so make sure to have a listen to this sweet tune below! Crystal Moonsamy
