Rob Molli strikes out into the prolific pub rock scene in Perth with his debut single ‘Everyday’. Performing his own unique blend of indie/folk with acoustic punk elements, Molli manages to stand out amongst the different voices. Playing his originals at open mic nights all around Perth since 2016 has let him fine tune his craft, the efforts of which can definitely be heard on ‘Everyday.’
‘Everyday’ is a moody yet relatable song about the mental ups and downs of the lives we lead, as well as the realisation that everything in life is temporary. Combining restrained acoustic guitar with his personal, honest lyrics, Molli creates a raw and authentic sound. The soulful raspy vocals are reminiscent of the wave of Aussie-punk sweeping the nation and combine perfectly on top of the slow and emotional guitar riffs to create an experience that draws you in and holds your attention.

“Everyday is a song to give closure to anyone out there that may be struggling with something. To know that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and tomorrow is a new day,” Molli says.
“It’s a song about learning to live in the now and embracing change.”

Rob Molli has done exceptionally well to have a piece of music this polished and refined as his first release. With an EP in sight in 2020, Rob will be one to follow and keep an eye on this year for fans of indie/folk.
