Feeling tired? Exhausted from a busy weekend and you’re working on Monday? DICE knows the feeling - the band’s latest single ‘Double Espresso’ will have you jamming the Monday blues away!
Not even a year old, DICE have seen amazing growth over the last couple of months and now hold a toolbox full of accolades by their side. They played their first gig in November 2020 and have now gone on to sell out a head-line show, make an appearance in major Spotify playlists (New Music Friday, Local Noise & Fresh Finds) as well as receiving airtime on many radio stations, including RTR FM and Triple J Unearthed.
But with growing success and shows lined up one after another, there is bound to be a coffee in hand when you next see them. ‘Double Espresso’ talks about this exact experience, the band saying, “[The song] explores the exhaustion that results from partying too hard going hand in hand with playing consecutive shows and the consequences of relying on coffee to get through the seemingly never-ending weekend resulting in countless sleepless nights.” Having refined their sound and aesthetic over the last couple of months, DICE are excited to share new works with their fans. They’ve recently signed to Tone City Recording and are taking their dedication to their music to the next level, consistently working in and out of recording studios to gear up for the release of their debut EP set to release in April. To celebrate the release of ‘Double Espresso’, DICE will be having a single launch party at Mojos Bar Fremantle on February 18, along with stellar supports Ra Ra Viper, Sunsick and Sevier.
