Perth based former solo singer-songwriter Cameron Alexander is excited to bring you the fleshed out sound of his full-band with their first release 'Six Seasons'. An emotional and touching piece, 'Six Seasons' captures that almost snow-globe-like feeling of existing in the picturesque storybook house on a hill, free from the outside stresses of life while time marches on around you.
Formerly a solo act with just him and his guitar, over the inevitably mentioned lockdown break Cameron had the time to reflect on where his sound was and where he wanted it to be. Knowing that he wanted to add drums, bass and cello to his mix, when asked to gig at the resumption of gigs Cameron was able to recruit friends Lucas Storer (on drums) and Ruben James (on bass) to perform a hastily practiced set. Following this set Cameron was introduced to Ellen Duhig (cello) by a mutual friend and following a jam the band had the start of their sound down.
Recorded with the expert Andy Lawson at Debaser Studios, the band was able to bring the full vision of the song to life. The band was also able to get local Indigenous artist Kambarni Bin Salleh to create the artwork for the single cover, seizing the moment to support and promote Indigenous art. Gerard Kinsella
