Brothr Bear have just released their debut single ‘Blind’. The five piece band formed almost a year ago in May 2019 between a group of mutual friends from previous projects. Their sound is an unconventional combination of bluegrass, soul, indie pop and hard rock with surprising elements of gospel and pop punk.
The debut single was written about the battle with faith and how growing and changing can affect your beliefs. It definitely has a taste of Mudford & Sons and it beautifully written and produced.

"Blind was written about my background in the christian faith and me battling with the idea that I may not believe in it at times. The track talks about faith and how you are often blind when living by it. This was such a hard song to write because I had never been honest with myself on how I really feel about my beliefs as an adult.” - Liam Kennington (Lead Vocals, Guitar)

Mixed by Kennington (Vocals, Guitar) and Luke Suter (Lead Guitar) the self produced debut proves that the band are serious about the plans in store for the group of talented musicians.

Their main influences include Foo Fighters, Kodaline and Mudford & Sons as welll as a number of Australian musicians like The Paper Kites, Birds of Tokyo and Timothy Nelson.

If any of those bands are part of your repertoire check out their debut ‘Blind’ below and follow these guys over on their socials.
