Perth’s electronic queen BEXX has been a force on the scene since she started performing. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, BEXX makes good use of the knowledge picked up in her degree in Performance Making to bring a superb live show each and every time she performs. The latest launch for her two debut singles 'Hold Tight' and 'Burn It Down' was also the debut of her full band lineup, starting with Bec Price herself as the producer and lead vocalist, Ethan Darnell (Tired Lion) on drums, Ruby May and Sinead O’Hara (Flossy) on backing vocals, and Amaya Courtis (local producer) on synth for a big party vibe on stage.
BEXX co-produces all of her own music with Luke Minness and is very passionate about women getting involved and making their own way in the electronic/production industry. She draws influences from all kinds of areas when creating her harmony leading to unique sounds that are then put to her heavy bass lines, four to the floor beats, big choral synth swells and dreamy vocals. Her music and presence have led to her being referred to as “THE boss Bitch of Perth”, probably the best way to try and capture the energy of her incredibly fun live show and highly charged tracks.

No stranger to playing to larger crowds, BEXX’s talent has been noticed almost immediately, having supported big Australian names in Luke Million, Kilter, Kaiit, Cosmos Midnight, Peking Duk, G Flip, Ruel and more over 2019-2020. She also managed to receive a nomination for the ‘Best Electronic Producer’ WAM award in 2019 purely on the basis of her live show, not having any tracks released yet!

‘Hold Tight' and 'Burn It Down' were released on Friday October 16th. 'Hold Tight' is a crowd favourite, never failing to get a sing-along going and pairs well with 'Burn It Down' with its killer bassline and relatable themes of staying with someone who’s bad for you. These two tracks are a very good representation of the dance anthems that BEXX is picking up a reputation for making. These are just the start as well, with a debut EP to follow up before the end of the year.
