An ode to the humble cereal flake, ‘Kelloggs’ is the leading single from The Washing Line Economy’s forthcoming debut album ‘Supply and Demand’. Alongside the launch of the single is also the launch of the band’s first music video, filmed on a Super8 by Mare Elzinga, it follows the band on a fantastical journey centered around the mystery of a red suitcase
‘Kelloggs’ was recorded by the talented team at Poons Head Studios, with mixing and recording handled by Nick Ireland with Rob Grant on mastering duties. The first of a total 10 tracks for the new album, due for release later in October this year, ‘Kelloggs’ is a showcase of the unique upbeat surfy/indie/psych rock and pop blend that The Washing Line Economy are known for.
There’s plenty to look forward to from the boys this year. Keep an eye on The Washing Line Economy for more music and shows in the lead up to the album drop in October.
